What our friends say....

"Kelly is fantastic! She helped our twins stay on top of their milestones, and she helped so much with our own education and questions as new parents. I highly recommend everyone work with her!"

Kelly Kremer PT, DPT

Dr. Kelly Kremer earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2008 from Bellarmine University in Louisville KY. She has always had a love and passion for working with babies and connecting with new parents, and has become an expert in the field of pediatric physical therapy since her graduation.

She began working exclusively in pediatrics in 2011 in a non profit outpatient setting, serving clients from birth to age 21 with a wide range of diagnoses, including a large population of children with special needs. In 2013, when she became a mother herself, she found a need in the Louisville and surrounding areas, for support and education opportunities in the journey of new parenthood. She began working to fill the void through guest teaching at many local New Moms and Purposeful Play groups. She was instrumental in educating new moms and caregivers in her community on ways to engage and play with their babies, while focusing on promoting strength and typical development, as well as educating parents how to notice atypical signs. But she also noticed how great the need was to continue and expand this work.

In 2018, she founded Kremer Physical Therapy to better serve her community! Kremer Physical Therapy specializes in optimizing infant and toddler development through caregiver education and support and Kelly could not be more thrilled to help empower new parents all around her!

Dr. Kremer has completed in depth continuing education on newborn development, tummy time, purposeful play, developing functional play groups for babies and toddlers, cranial nerve dysfunction, integrating primitive reflexes, nursing support, tongue and lip tie involvement in the developing infant, appropriate intervention of flat feet in young children, and gait development and training. She has also presented research on aquatic based physical therapy intervention on a national level.  In addition to pediatrics, she has also worked in settings including sports medicine and orthopedics, acute care, and subacute rehab.

She is a wife and a mother of 4 wonderful kiddos, born in 2013, 2014, and 2016, and 2021 and has learned immensely from her experiences as a mother, including working through difficult nursing experiences, triple feeding for 4 months, exclusive pumping for 12 months, speech delays, and tongue tie revisions. In her free time she enjoys volunteering at her church, coaching her children's various sports teams, reading, date nights with her wonderful husband, and watching reality TV.
